Let’s dive into Day 2!

Start your morning with a delicious café mocha and a crêpe Bénédicte from the local treasure, Café Archibald. Then, prepare for your jungle adventure of the day: the Magnetic Hill Zoo. Because let’s be real, if you visit Moncton without coming face-to-face with a full-sized Amur Tiger, did you even really visit?

This 40-acre park provides a friendly environment for visitors to connect with and learn about over 70 indigenous and exotic species. Expertly cared for, the zoo’s residents are separated into four distinct areas: the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Discovery.

Take your time at the zoo, but don’t miss the natural wonder of the Tidal Bore. This phenomenon occurs when the Bay of Fundy tides push the Petitcodiac River backwards, and is best viewed from Bore Park in downtown Moncton. Grab a coffee and enjoy the view.

Next on your itinerary is Resurgo Place, a state-of-the-art facility that houses the Moncton Museum and the Transportation Discovery Centre. Although you could easily spend the entire day exploring its numerous exhibits, make sure to leave with plenty of time to make your dinner reservation at Atelier Tony. This upscale and luxurious Dieppe restaurant never fails to deliver an amazing meal.

Going from fine dining to a 60 km/h dive through a waterslide aptly named “The Kamikaze” might seem like an unusual combination, but for us, that’s what we call a “pretty good weekend.” Thankfully, you packed your flip-flops and swimsuit, because you’re headed to Magic Mountain for some serious splashing fun. Cool off in the wave pool, fulfill your need for speed, or take it easy on the Lazy River. Perfect for all ages, this is an absolute must during hot summer days.

Day 3 – Time to Relax

After you’ve dried off, it’s time to head to the tranquil Magnetic Hill Winery. Take a well-deserved stroll through the picturesque estate, savour delicious award-winning wines, and discover the rich history of this unique winery. You can even stay the night at one of the finest bed & breakfasts in the area and take in a breathtaking view of Moncton.

If you’re looking for a unique coffee experience, head to Epoch Chemistry Coffee House on St. George St. in Moncton for the Epoch Tasting Experience. Delight in freshly roasted coffee and reconnect with your +1 over a game of chess.

Wrap up your Hub City experience with a short trip west to the Corn Hill Nursery. Enjoy lunch at their Cedar Café, take a stroll through their impressive plant selection, and be on the lookout for their informative workshops and seminars.
